This year Easter falls on Sunday, April 9.

Usually shops will stay open for Good Friday (April 7) and Easter Monday (April 10) which are bank holidays, but it’s best to check their websites to be sure.

Government rules mean stores in England and Wales larger than 280 square metres have to close on Easter Sunday.

The last thing you want is to be disappointed if the place is closed, plus there’s no need to waste money on petrol.

You can use the store locator tool on each website to check your nearest branch for future reference.

Keep in mind as well, none of the opening hours during Easter weekend are guaranteed because it will vary depending on the shop.
