PAPERCHASE is back in shops this week inside a select number of supermarket stores.

The stationery brand, which went bust earlier this year, is available to buy in over 250 Tescos nationwide.

“Paperchase at Tesco” will also be available to buy on the supermarket’s website from this week as well.

It comes after the chain collapsed in January after failing to find a buyer for the business.

Fans of Paperchase were devastated when the retailer disappeared from the high street.

It shut the doors on a total of 106 standalone shops, and 28 concessions within Next and Selfridges.

Tesco bought the rights to the brand and announced in October that it would be returning just in time for Christmas.

Shoppers will be able to get their hands a range of items in select Tesco stores.

Prices start at just £5 for a tote bag and go up to £14 for a pack of 24 marker pens.

Other items available include wall charts, notebooks, scrap books, gift bags, party bags, wrapping paper and an array of pens.

Fans of Paperchase were devastated when the retailer disappeared from the high street in April this year.

Over the years the brand developed a cult following from people who loved indulging in its brightly coloured quirky notebooks, diaries, cards and gift wrap.

But sadly the loyalty of shoppers could not keep the retail giant afloat and it fell into administration in February after failing to find a buyer.

This led to the closure of all of its 134 shops including concessions stands in Next and Selfridges, with 900 job losses.

It means shoppers will be pleased to know that it has been resurrected just in time for the festive season.

Supermarket giant Tesco bought the rights to the brand and announced earlier this month that it would be returning just in time for Christmas.

The news today comes just days after The Range confirmed it was bringing Wilko stores back to the high street.

Wilko also collapsed into administration this year and fans were gutted when all shops shut earlier this month.

But now The Range, which bought the brand name and intellectual property, has announced it will be opening five Wilko stores by Christmas.

Wilko.com returned earlier this month under The Range’s ownership, and Wilko branded items are being stocked in The Range stores.

These aren’t the only chains which have been given a new lease of life after collapsing.

major fashion retailer is set to make a surprise return to the high street after all of its 170 stores closed down.

M&Co fell into administration late last year and its shops disappeared from the high street in April.

Yours Clothing, which snapped up the brand name, is planning to open bricks and mortar shops again, The Sun exclusively revealed.

An exact timeline for the re-openings is yet to be revealed.

Plus, iconic British fashion chain Top Shop could return to the high street if it’s acquired by Ted Baker and Reebok’s owner.

It comes after it was reported that ASOS is exploring the potential to sell off its ownership of Topshop less than two years after it bought the brand.

But fresh reports suggest that ASOS is now in formal talks to offload the brand to the owner of Ted Baker, Reebok and Forever 21, according to The Telegraph.

Meanwhile, a high street giant is set to close a store a much-loved shop, but it’s not all bad news.

Plus, M&S’ first Christmas advert has arrived and it features well-known TV and movie stars.
