THE Easter holidays are upon us and to help ease costs major chains like Subway and McDonald’s are offering bargain deals.

It could come as a boost for parents who are worrying about their budget over the break.

A whole host of restaurants and cafes have launched offers where kids can eat for free or for as little as £1.

Whether it is a breakfast out or the promise of some lunch to break up the supermarket shop, there are several to choose from.

And the good news is most of them are on for the next two weeks.

Below The Sun has rounded up the full list of shops and restaurants offering free or cheap food this Easter holiday.

Subway

Subway’s popular Kids Eat Free deal will be returning to participating restaurants across the UK for the school holidays.

The deal is on from now until Sunday, April 14.

The Kids Meal includes a 4-inch Sub, a snack, and a drink.

You can pick it up for free when buying a full-price Footlong Sub, at hundreds of Subway restaurants.

Parents can view the terms and conditions, as well as the full list of participating restaurants on the chain’s website.

McDonald’s

This Easter your little ones can also bag a discounted Maccies Happy Meal.

Available via the McDonald’s App, you can grab the mini meal for just £1.99 – reduced from £3.49.

The deal is available from now until April 14.

It’s important to note though, that you have to order the meal through the Maccies app – either for collection or delivery.

Prezzo

Kids can get a free, three-course kids meal, every day at Prezzo over the next two weeks.

It runs until April 14 and applies to kids aged up to 11 years old only.

To receive the offer parents have to pay for any one adult main meal.

You can get your 9-digit code on the chain’s website and present it to the waiter at the end of your meal.

The same 9-digit code can be used multiple times until expiry.

Yo Sushi

Children aged under 12 can also eat for free at selected YO Sushi locations.

Head to a participating restaurant between now and April 12.

But bear in mind kids only eat for free when an adult spends £10 or more.

A maximum of three kids per booking can eat for free.

The offer is only available for dine-in at Yo restaurants.

It’s not available at the following sites: Bath, Heathrow T2, Heathrow T3, Manchester Piccadilly Station, St Pancras Station, York Outlet or London Luton Airport.

Bella Italia

Children can get a meal for £1 – so long as you buy an adult meal with it – from 4-6pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

Plus kids eat free all day every Thursday too.

The offer is only available for kids aged between two and 11 though.

The meal is made up of three courses and a drink, so it’s definitely worth checking out.

Tesco

Kids can eat for free when a paying adult presents their Clubcard and spends 60p at any Tesco Cafe too.

This offer is available from Monday to Friday during school holidays.

And if you want another Kids Eat Free meal, just buy another item of adult food or drink.

Asda

Your children can eat for £1 all day, every day at Asda cafes.

Parents don’t even need an adult to buy anything either – and the offer runs all year round too.

The kids menu has a variety of offers including dishes such as Penne Pasta with Meatballs and a vegan Hidden Veg pasta meal.

That’s alongside favourites like fish fingers, chicken nuggets and the all-day breakfast, there is also the option of swapping out chips for a salad or peas.

As an alternative to a hot meal, Asda Cafe’s also offer a £1 cold pick-and-mix selection that includes a sandwich, drink and piece of fruit, the menu includes new treats such as a jelly pot with whole fruit pieces or a jelly squeeze pouch as an alternative to a pack of crisps.

Morrisons

Kids aged under 16 can eat for free at Morrisons Cafe when an adult spends £4.99 or more on a meal.

The children’s meal includes a piece of fruit and Tropicana Kids orange or apple drink or bottle of water.

The free meal must be a kid’s meal purchased from the customer Cafe kids menu or chilled kids snack pack.

Beefeater

If you’re up early before day out this holiday your little ones can eat breakfast for free at all Beefeaters and Brewer Fayre restaurants.

Two kids under 16 can eat breakfast for £0 with every adult breakfast purchased.

The adult breakfast costs £10.99 and is unlimited so it’s definitely worth checking out.

It’s available from 6.30 until 10.30am midweek and 7 until 11am at the weekend.

Sainsbury’s

Kids eat for £1 with the purchase of an adult hot meal from £5.20.

This offer is valid daily from 11.30am until the cafe closes.

Hot options include fish fingers, sausages, chicken nuggets, and cheese and tomato pizza.

The deal is available at Sainsbury’s Cafes nationwide.

Dunelm

If you’re looking to head to the shops this Easter and are taking your kids, they can eat for cheap at Dunelm too.

Your children can get a free meal that includes one main, one drink and two snacks.

The offer is available all day every day when an adult spends £4.

Ikea

Heading to an Ikea this Easter? Save some cash by having lunch there too.

Grab pasta with tomato sauce and a soft drink for 95p or any other kid’s meal for £1.50.

It’s on offer every day from 11am in Ikea restaurants.
