GUILTY of leaving cereal in the bottom of a packet?
It’s time to turn those leftovers into something special.
From broken Weetabix to not-so-crunchy cornflakes, transform the scraps into a snack or handy food ingredient.
A BIG CRUSH: Crushed cornflakes make a great replacement for breadcrumbs on homemade fish fingers or chicken nuggets.
To make nuggets for four people, chop four chicken breasts into chunks, dip them into a bowl of seasoned flour, then another of two beaten eggs, then finally a third bowl of 125g crushed cornflakes.
Cook on a lined baking tray for 20 minutes at 180 to 200C.
