You can claim the region by standing near the flag for around a minute, though this will leave you vulnerable to attack.

If you manage it though you’ll be able to see every chest in the area, even those hidden behind walls.

Oathbound chests look different from normal chests, and have a white body with gold highlights.

When you loot, them you will get more resources than usual, and the chance to pick up a Guardian Shield too.

Fortnite: How to use the Guardian Shield to block bullets

To use the Guardian Shield, make sure you have it in your hand, then throw it out in front of you.

The shield will spread out and block any and all oncoming bullets from that direction.

This will leave you free to change in and take down opponents without taking any damage.

However, the shield will wear out as it takes hits, and if it takes too much damage, it will disappear.

This week’s challenge requires you to block ten bullets with the shield, which shouldn’t be a problem if you find a couple of opponents.
