JUMP START: Skipping is a great workout for burning calories as well as boosting stamina and co-ordination. And as ropes are light, you can take one wherever you fancy working out. Nike has the Intensity speed rope for £19.95 or you can get the TechRise skipping jump rope from TeckNet.co.uk for £2.99, down from £10.99.
