FITBIT wearers are not happy about the device’s brand new app and want Google to switch it BACK.

Some users hate it so much that they’re threatening to give up on their Fitbit altogether and go for an Apple Watch instead.

Google – which owns Fitbit – has been flooded with outraged comments on social media since the free app upgrade was rolled out.

Many are demanding that the tech giant switch back to the previous version.

The brand new app has a completely refreshed look with greater personalisation.

Google has broken down the sections into three tabs: Today, Coach and You.

But many say the dashboard has become cluttered, while others don’t like the new colour scheme, describing it as “bile brown, vomit green and light blue”.

There’s also no dark mode.

“Who on earth thought this colour palette would look appealing?” they complained.

“The new app is awful! Everyone hates it,” another person said on X, previously known as Twitter.

A third said: “The new app design is horrible.

“Boring colors and much less choice in the order of the metrics I want to see. Very disappointed.

“After 9 years I guess it’s time to finally get an Apple Watch.”

Fitbit has been responding to comments saying: “Fitbit doesn’t have a way to revert back to the old version.

“Fitbit and Google are constantly striving to improve products and services.”
