Companies are recruiting more business students at historically Black colleges and universities this year in an attempt to diversify their talent pipelines.

The business school at Howard University, a historically Black college, usually has 50 or so companies at its on-campus fall career fair, but this year hosted about 140 firms virtually, the school said.
