LOCKDOWN was hard for everyone.

But for people whose businesses depended on bringing people together to enjoy food and drink, it was especially hard – all their plans came crashing down.

Street Feast founder Dominic Cools-Lartigue had to think on his feet to save the business he had grown from scratch.

He put all of his energy into helping to feed hungry kids in his community. And now he’s come out fighting.

The past 18 months have played havoc with companies big and small, with many, like Dominic’s, having to switch up their business models and take on new technology to stay afloat.

Financial resilience has become the name of the game.

But as we emerge from lockdown, how can companies make sure their business is strong enough to bounce back and go for growth?

Listening to the advice and learning from the experience of business leaders like Dominic is a great way to start.

To give companies the advice they need to succeed as restrictions are lifted, The Sun and Lloyds Bank are joining forces to host a panel where you’ll be able to hear from Dominic and a team of other experts.

The event, hosted by The Sun business editor Tracey Boles, will also feature London business owner Emma, who runs a barber shop and two pubs in the capital. She’ll be sharing how she found new revenue streams as her businesses closed.

We’ll also be hearing from Lloyds Bank’s Gareth Oakley, who will talk about how businesses can be financially resilient.

It’s not one to miss!

Join us live at 12.30pm on July 21. The event is free. Find out more and sign up here at lockdownlearnings.co.uk/sun
