It was listed online this morning for £89.99 and thousands of customers quickly joined the queue to pre-order one.

For anyone looking to get one in store you can grab it from next Sunday, April 23.

The website states that the fryers ordered won’t be dispatched until next Sunday too.

Last November customers actually crashed the Aldi website before the fryer sold out.

Dozens were reporting that they couldn’t get on the site, with others sharing that there were thousands in the virtual queue ahead of them.

While the queue was not as busy this morning, some Facebook users did report being 2,900 in line to pre-order.

Although there were several who managed to grab one.

Another said: “Just literally went on ..8.38am ..no queue and could order straightaway!”

Aldi’s air fryer costs £89.99 – which is £110 cheaper than the popular Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.

It has seven automatic cooking programmes and two heating elements to cook two different food simultaneously.

The handy kitchen gadget can reach a temperature of 200C and it’s got a 60-minute timer too, so you know when your food is ready.

Plus, the coated frying basket is non-stick, which should mean little to no mess cleaning up after dinner.

The only catch is that the device is clearly in high demand, so if you want to grab the bargain in store, you might have to be quick.

You also might want to call ahead to your local store to check if the it has the fryer in stock, to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest Aldi by using the store locator tool on its website.

As always before you commit to a purchase, you should have a shop around to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

The Aldi price is the cheapest we’ve found a dual-basket fryer, but it’s always worth a search around other stores in case we’ve missed it for a better bargain.

Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.

But don’t worry, there are similar air fryers being sold elsewhere with a similar price tag.

Although if you’re ordering online make sure to factor in delivery costs.

We found that Robert Dyas is selling a Salter dual basket fryer for £119.99, and Argos has a Tower fryer for £134.

If you’re looking for a single basket appliance for a lower price we also found a 6L single basket air fryer at Costco for just £44.

Meanwhile, you can grab an even smaller 1.5L air fryer at Asda for just £25 at the moment.
