FOLLOWING the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, not much is known about the other Assassin’s Creed games in development.
Assassin’s Creed Nexus is due in November, and will allow players to experience a fully VR Assassin’s Creed game as Kassandra, Ezio, and Connor.
Taking place across ancient Greece, Venice, and the US, you can play as each assassin in first person, with a variety of settings for those who get nauseous in VR.
We had our hands on this one in Montréal, and were surprised at just how immersive and yet comfortable this one is.
We also had the chance to get our hands on Assassin’s Creed Jade in the summer, which is a full entry in the series, developed specifically for mobile.
This is another Assassin’s Creed game that, despite the platform, we felt is the fully-fledged experience that fans are used to.
More in Assassin’s Creed
There are two more series games that we haven’t heard a lot about; Assassin’s Creed Red, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe.
Red and Hexe are just code names developer Ubisoft uses for these upcoming projects and not necessarily the games’ final titles.
We saw a teaser of Assassin’s Creed Red in September last year, but we have heard little since.
It was revealed that Red will be set in Imperial Japan, but we are still unsure of even who the protagonist will be.

Luckily, fans have been keeping their eyes on all things Assassin’s Creed, and think they have spotted the latest protagonist.
Pierre Boudreau is a senior writer at Ubisoft working on the Assassin’s Creed series.
He recently updated his header image for his LinkedIn profile, to a female assassin on a red background.
She’s wearing a blue outfit with the iconic assassin’s hood, and is carrying a katana.
You can also see a Japanese pagoda in the background, meaning that it is very likely a promotional image for Assassin’s Creed Red.
It has since been changed back to an image from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, meaning that it was likely changed early.
Following this image release, fans are expecting that we’ll hear more about Assassin’s Creed Red soon.
The Game Awards will be held at the start of December, and awards aside, the event showcases a number of new trailers and gaming announcements.
