DYSON has announced a brand new super strong vacuum cleaner capable of sucking up tiny viruses.
The British firm says its new Gen5detect is its most powerful cordless vacuum yet.
Its tougher filter and fully sealed system can capture 99.99 per cent of particles down to 0.1 microns, which is around the size of a Covid particle.
However, the company hasn’t actually tested it against coronavirus in top secret labs – instead it was tried on the Swine flu virus H1N1 and Bacteriophage MS2.
Dyson‘s own research has found that 95 per cent of people say they are cleaning their homes just as much, if not more, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The firm has improved its wacky laser which exposes hidden dirt on your floors too.
Since introducing it last year, experts have now powered it up to reveal twice the amount of microscopic dust for increased brightness and range.
The intelligent system will also warn you if your room isn’t clean enough.
A screen shows bars that jump and drop according to the volume of particles being removed in real-time – so owners know when to move on or give it another whizz over.
Founder James Dyson said: “The Gen5detect defines Dyson’s next generation of cleaning technology.

“It is the combination of our dust light optic technology, dust particle counting and sizing, pioneering new motor and whole-machine HEPA filtration, that enables you to achieve our deepest ever clean.”
The firm is yet to reveal just how much the new vacuum cleaner will cost.
And we don’t know when it’ll be available either.
Earlier this year, Dyson revealed a whacky headset that also sucks out bad air.
