These devices are network appliances that deliver audio and video content.

Mostly, they are streamed via the internet and work on a connected high-definition television.

Amazon’s line of products has been extremely successful, but users have been finding faults with Amazon Fire TV products.

One person took to Reddit recently to air out their grievances with their Fire TV.

They began their post by noting that they have spent much money on Amazon Fire TV products, yet the pause feature doesn’t work.

“You come back to your paused program… and you have ended up on some kind of weird screen,” they said.

And “once you figure out how to get back, you have been kicked out of the app you were in,” they added.

“I’m sorry maybe I’m crazy but I don’t always remember exactly what I was watching last and I have no way to figure out how to get back to it without scrolling through all of my apps and figuring it out on my own,” they continued.

The user continued to criticize Amazon, saying that people are paying for services but receiving no support from them regarding these issues.

The post quickly garnered support from Fire TV users who were experiencing the same problem.

“Haha, not crazy at all man. Happens to me and probably everybody else all the freaking time,” one person said.

“I wish there was a setting where you could just disable that altogether,” they added. “I feel your pain man.”

“Amazon has turned into a billion-dollar company by stealing all of our information and data. They use us,” another discouraged user chimed in.

Another user said they don’t face this specific issue, but when they do pause their Fire TV, their television shuts off immediately.

Some users tried to offer solutions, including pressing Play as soon as they returned to their TVs and waiting 30 seconds.

This is the latest in a string of criticism Amazon is facing for its products, ranging from Fire TVs to its Prime Video service.

Most recently, the company was sued for adding advertisements to Prime Video.
