Prosecutors have asked that the former president be banned from sharing evidence with unauthorized people after post on Truth Social

US prosecutors have used a court filing to flag a social media post from Donald Trump, arguing that it suggests he might intimidate witnesses by improperly disclosing confidential evidence received from the government.

The justice department on Friday asked a federal judge overseeing the criminal case against the former president to step in after he released a post online that appeared to promise revenge on anyone who goes after him.
