MCDONALD’S delivery means you can feast on fan favourites like a Big Mac or Chicken McNuggets without even leaving the house.

Delivery costs vary significantly depending on which service you use, which can have a huge impact on the total price of your meal.

The lowest price we could find for delivery to The Sun office was 99p, but prices went as high as £3.99 depending on which delivery service you chose.

Here’s everything you need to know including how to get delivery and what the cheapest option is for dining at home.

Where does McDonald’s deliver?

You can get McDonald’s delivered using Just Eat or Uber Eats, or by placing an order through the My McDonald’s app.

The burger chain does not currently offer delivery through Deliveroo.

If you don’t want to order via a delivery service website, you can download the Just Eat app on both iPhone or Android phones.

Uber Eats can also be accessed via the App Store or Google Play.

Delivery is available in most UK towns and cities, although your eligibility depends on whether you live close enough to a Maccies branch.

To check whether you can get a Big Mac direct to your door, you can use the McDonald’s online delivery locator.

Fast-food fans can also use the My McDonald’s app to place an order for collection or to pick up at the Drive-Thru.

How much does McDonald’s delivery cost?

Uber Eats, Just Eat and My McDonald’s are all free to download through the App Store or Google Play.

However, you will have to pay a delivery fee, which will vary depending on your location, which service you use and whether there is a special offer on.

Just Eat tends to be the cheapest, with delivery often available for as little as 99p as long as you spend over £8.

Both Uber Eats and using the McDonald’s app tend to be more expensive, with delivery fees of over £3.

It’s worth checking all three options before you order, as the fees can vary and sometimes are as high as £3.99.

It’s also worth factoring in special offers. For instance, on Mondays, you can often get burger deals through the My McDonald’s app which can offset the higher cost of delivery.

Throughout December, McDonald’s is offering fantastic festive deals such as a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese for just £1.99.

Some of those deals will be available for delivery, but others are pick-up only – so make sure you check before you order.

What can I order?

Most of McDonald’s menu is available for delivery, meaning you can get all the classics such as Big Macs, Chicken McNuggets and Happy Meals without leaving the sofa.

Speciality burgers are usually also available, such as the new Festive menu and the Double Quarterpounder with Cheese.

Ice cream cones and drinks with cream on the top such as frappes can’t be ordered for delivery as they don’t travel well.

McDonald’s serves breakfast until 11am every day, which is when you can get your hands on a McMuffin or hash browns.

After that, it switches to its standard burger menu until closing time.

Is McDonald’s Monopoly running?

McDonald’s Monopoly came to a close in early October, but it’s likely to make a return next year.

When it’s playing, you usually won’t be left out if you’re ordering delivery or collecting through the app or drive-thru to take away.

You will still receive products with stickers on when using these services including with Just Eat and Uber Eats.
