Walt Disney reported a better-than-expected 26% jump in revenue, driven by record results at its theme parks division and the addition of more new subscribers than projected to its flagship streaming video platform Disney+.

Disney+ gained 14.4 million new subscribers in the three-month period ended July 2, nearly all of them from outside North America. Analysts were expecting 10 million additions, according to FactSet. The company also announced price increases to its streaming products in the U.S.
