President Biden could catch some flak from his left flank if he reappoints Jerome Powell as chairman of the Federal Reserve.

Mr. Powell, who became a Fed governor in 2012 and was tapped to lead the central bank by former President Trump in 2017, will see his term as chair end next February. In a new report, the left-leaning Fed Up campaign of the Center for Popular Democracy said there is a good case for sending Mr. Powell packing.
