Private digital money and related technologies are now on the Federal Reserve’s list of financial stability concerns.

Minutes from the Fed’s late January policy meeting, released Wednesday, noted that policy makers were taking account of developments in the digital money space and included that in their regular back and forth regarding risks in the financial system, and how Fed policy actions influence those risks.
