The Federal Aviation Administration said Boeing has made the necessary changes to ensure that its 787 Dreamliners meet certification standards, and it expects deliveries to resume in the coming days.

The first delivery could come as soon as Wednesday, people familiar with the matter said. American Airlines Group is set to receive the first of the twin-aisle aircraft, according to one of the people.
