DEBENHAMS shoppers are rushing to buy an air fryer which has been reduced by £110 for Christmas – and it’s cheaper than Aldi’s version.

The 8-litre digital touchscreen air fryer is on sale for just £33.99, down from its original price of £149.99.

It comes with a slip-streamed airflow design fanning super-hot air all around the cooker.

The dishwasher-safe gadget is ideal for grilling and air frying food, and clean-up is a breeze.

You can also use the screen to control the exact cooking time and temperature.

The Debenhams air fryer is cheaper than Aldi’s £49.99 Ambiano Dual Basket Air Fryer, which returned to stores yesterday.

“But I’ve done a jacket potato twice and it cooked it perfectly,

“Quicker than oven cooking alone, nice and fluffy on the inside and crispy on outside.

“I’ve done a ready meal in the metal cartons and cooked in less time than stated and was cooked perfectly.

“It’s got quite a few functions on it, I’m going to do a cake next week in it.

“Thank you, it’s brilliant – best kitchen gadget I’ve bought.”

Nat said: “This was great to begin with but after a week or so the non-stick coating has peeled off in different areas.

“Now it can’t be used as it’s sticking on all the food. Extremely disappointed.

“I wouldn’t recommend for this reason.”

Another shopper said: “The cooking base is already rusty in less than a month. Not impressed.”
