Easter is one of the busiest times in the sales calendar, and it’s the perfect opportunity to snap up an A-grade bargain – Currys is offering some insanely good price drops on tech, electronics, home and garden products.

The high-street retailer is one of the first shops to have launched its Easter sale this year. As CCO Ed Connolly explains: ‘We are launching early [in 2022] to make sure that customers can get their hands on unmissable tech at unmissable prices ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.’

Well, you can’t argue with that: time to get deal-hunting!

But with so many products reduced in price, it’s easy to get a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of Currys Easter deals to look though.

We’ve been doing lots of searching and scrolling, and have listed the very best deals below – but remember, spend wisely. It’s not a bargain if you didn’t need the item in the first place.

Best Currys deals this Easter

1. Ring Video Doorbell & 3rd-generation Amazon Echo Dot bundle, £54 (save £34.99)

8

What’s the deal? A 39% price drop on two Amazon devices – and interestingly, it’s 99p cheaper than Amazon’s sale offer.

Why we love it: Because these two smart devices make a perfect pairing: one will relay video footage to your phone or smart screen; the other lets you call upon the voice-controlled services of Alexa. Together, they make for a hugely affordable intercom system for your front door.

  • Ring Video Doorbell & 3rd-generation Amazon Echo Dot bundle, £54 (save £34.99) – buy from Currys

2. De’Longhi Icona Capitals CTOC4003.Y 4-Slice Toaster, £54.99 (save £54.01)

8

What’s the deal? A 50% reduction on the yellow-coloured, four-slice toaster from De’Longhi’s stylish Icona Capitals line.

Why we love it: This would make a very fancy-looking addition to most kitchen countertops – but the RRP of £109 is probably much too steep for most shoppers, however much they love their morning toast.

At the reduced price of £54.99 however, it’s an entirely different proposition.

  • De’Longhi Icona Capitals CTOC4003.Y 4-Slice Toaster, £54.99 (save £54.01) – buy from Currys

3. Huawei MatePad 9.7-inch Tablet T10 Kids Edition, £99 (save £80)

8

What’s the deal? Huawei’s kid-friendly tablet has been reduced by over 44%, now costing just £99.

Why we love it: Because this price drop has come along with perfect timing: you need to keep the kids distracted over the Easter hols, right?

This makes for a far more affordable alternative to Apple’s line of iPads: it boasts a 9.7-inch HD screen, and comes with a stylus for drawing and creativity. A ‘Kids Corner’ mode put parental controls in place. A fab piece of tech for under £100.

  • Huawei MatePad 9.7-inch Tablet T10 Kids Edition, £99 (save £80) – buy from Currys

4. Philips 55-inch PUS7556/12 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV, £399 (save £250)

8

What’s the deal? This 55-inch television from Philips’s PUS7556 has been given a hefty £200 discount.

Why we love it: Because a 55-inch TV is actually pretty big in the standard living room, and to get one for under £400 is still pretty remarkable.

This ticks all the necessary boxes for buying a TV in 2022 – in-built streaming; 4K resolution; high-quality Dolby audio – and if you need something to mount it on the wall, don’t miss our best TV wall bracket article.

  • Philips 55-inch PUS7556/12 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV, £399 (save £250) – buy from Currys

5. LG PN7 XBOOM Go Portable Bluetooth Speaker, £109 (save £60)

8

What’s the deal? A 40% discount on LG’s XBoom portable speaker.

Why we love it: Whether you want portable audio for the park or for your back garden this summer, now’s the time to pick this particular option up.

LG is a hugely respected tech manufacturer, and this will deliver assured levels of sound quality, along with a battery life that can last up to 24 hours.

  • LG PN7 XBOOM Go Portable Bluetooth Speaker, £109 (save £60) – buy from Currys

6. De’Longhi Combi BCO411.BK Filter & Pump Coffee Machine, £189 (save £60)

8

What’s the deal? A filter-and-pump coffee machine that’s been reduced by 32% to £189.

Why we love it: Because De’Longhi is one of the biggest names in coffee appliances out there, and while you can easily spend well into the thousands if you wanted to, this mid-range piece of kit makes for a much more affordable option.

Yes, it’s a filter machine, but it will make drinks much more sophisticated than diner-style coffee – it has a frothing wand so can whip up lattes, cappuccinos and the like.

  • De’Longhi Combi BCO411.BK Filter & Pump Coffee Machine, £189 (save £60) – buy from Currys

7. Garmin Vivoactive 4, £199 (save £80)

8

What’s the deal? A price drop of 28% on Garmin’s Vivoactive 4 smartwatch.

Why we love it: Garmin has a stellar reputation on the wearables market for delivering super-accurate metrics and stats – so if you’re on a health kick right now and keen to pick up a high-quality fitness tracker, this is an option you should seriously consider.

The Vivoactive 4 will do everything from delivering your heartrate to yoga tutorials to your Spotify playlist – a great all-round choice of smartwatch.

When does the Currys Easter sale start?

It already has!

The high-street giant’s Easter ‘Epic deals’ went live on its website on the morning of March 30, as part of a decisive strategy to get a head-start in 2022.

Our guess? Lots of other retailers will follow in Currys’ footsteps very, very soon.

When does the Currys Easter sale end?

The Currys Easter sale is set to end on 19 April.

But, as we always advise, that doesn’t mean you can necessarily hold off on your spending.

With stock issues still afflicting so many markets and industries, it’s not impossible that many popular items will sell out before that date.

Furthermore, Currys are in no way obliged to keep their prices drops in place until then.

Is Currys open on Easter Monday?

Historically, Currys has always generally had its stores open on Easter Monday.

That being said, it’s definitely worth checking your local Currys store’s opening hours online before you decide to visit to confirm – it might be operating with restricting trading hours.

Is Currys open on Easter Sunday?

It’s highly unlikely, since large stores are prevented by law to open on the Sunday during Easter Weekend.

However, as before, we suggest you confirm by searching your local store’s opening hours online, just in case its opening (if it is open, it’s likely with reduced working hours).
