When does the Currys Boxing Day sale begin?

This might sound life a daft question – the 26th December, right? – but last year Currys Boxing Day sale kicked off earlier than the name suggests.

In 2021, Currys launched its sale on Christmas Eve, and it ran until January 25th.

Throughout that time, we saw new deals appear on the site every week or so, so if you don’t see anything that takes your fancy at the beginning of the sale it’s definitely worth returning to Currys to see if anything new pops up.

What were the best deals in the Currys Boxing Day sale last year?

In 2021 we saw a huge range of exceptional deals in Curry’s Boxing Day sale.

The Samsung All-in-One Sound Bar was reduced by 50% to just £199.99: that’s an amazing price drop on a soundbar from a market-leading brand.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live earbuds were also given an impressive 50% discount to just £79.99 (though they’re currently cheaper at just £79).

Savings ran even bigger for coffee machines: the Dolce Gusto by De’Longhi Infinissima Coffee Machine dropped by 66% to just £34.

We’ve got our fingers crossed we’ll see the same huge price drops this year.

More on Winter sales

Will Currys be open on Boxing Day?

Yes, we expect all Currys stores to be open on Boxing Day – perfect if you’re the type who much prefers in-store bargain-hunting to online shopping.

It’s worth keeping mind that website and store prices will always be exactly the same, so if you would prefer to shop from the comfort of couch, you won’t miss out on any savings.

Currys offers both home and store delivery, with the latter being an opportunity to spend a little less usually.

What is the Currys Price Promise?

It’s something you should definitely keep in mind when you’re hunting through deals in Boxing Day sales, that’s for sure.

Currys is well-known for offering a price-match guarantee – in other words, if you see another product that’s cheaper elsewhere, it will match that price.

Better still, it will do that for up to seven days after you’ve made a purchase, so don’t despair if you’ve just bought an item and you’ve seen a lower price on another store.

It’s worth reading through the details – head to the Price Promise page on the Currys website.
