It’s not clear whether the retailer is stocking the cake in all its stores, so you should get in touch with your nearest to find out.

You can do this by using Costco store locator tool on its website.

Remember, when buying anything like this, to shop around and see if you are getting the best deal.

Website trolley.co.uk lets you compare thousands of supermarket products and reveals where is cheapest to get each one.

Meanwhile, the Google Shopping tab is useful for a quick scan of the internet and how much separate retailers are selling an item for.

You need to be a member to shop at Costco and you have to meet certain requirements, we have all the details that you need to know below.

How do I become a Costco member?

To be eligible for a Costco membership, you need to have – or be retired from – a certain type of job.

Jobs that are included in the criteria are public sector workers such as NHS staff, police officers, teachers and local government workers.

Membership starts from £15 a year for online shopping only, but if you would rather shop at one of the warehouses then that rises to £33.60.

If you have a business there are also trade memberships available from £24.40 a year.

There are many perks to being a member as well as low prices, such as discounted fuel and tyre installation to mortgage services and pet insurance.

Prior to this year, members used to have to carry a physical card with them when shopping at one of the warehouses, but now it is more convenient.

The retailer has launched its first digital membership card meaning that shoppers can just scan their phones in stores.

You can put your postcode into the retailer’s website and it will bring up where your nearest Costco warehouse is.

The same page also has a useful map showing you where all of its locations currently are.

There are many dotted around the UK with outlets in Edinburgh ManchesterLiverpool and London.
