VALENTINE’S Day is fast approaching, and Costa Coffee has introduced a limited edition item especially for the occasion.

The popular coffee shop is known for adding seasonal sweet treats to its menu, like the Terry’s Chocolate Orange hot chocolate and Quality Street the Purple One latte at Christmas.

From today, February 3, customers can grab a Cupid’s Cooler, which is a cold drink.

It’s in addition to Costa’s traditional coolers flavours – mango and passion fruit, and red summer berries.

So fruity fans can jump for joy, because the new blend is a raspberry and Belgian chocolate mix.

The special edition is topped with squirty cream, strawberry pieces, and more chocolate sauce – because who doesn’t love the sweet stuff?

Customers willing to go all out can order additional toppings including a chocolate flake or marshmallows, but these come at a price.

A small Cupid’s Cooler without additions will set you back £3.60 and it’s £3.90 for a medium.

Adding a flake or marshmallows will cost you an extra 50p each.

If it’s love at first sip, you have some time – the drink is available for two weeks, until February 17.

But that’s not all.

Customers, including vegans, can pick up a gingerbread Love Bear for £2.

The items are available both in store and online, and you can search for them on the Costa app, which is free to download on your smartphone.

Costa can deliver the goods but only to certain areas, so check that yours is one of them.

App users can collect “coffee beans” simply by buying beverages, and eight of these will get you a free drink.

To find your nearest Costa store, you can use the locator on its website.

Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat all serve Costa too, but ordering online will add some delivery costs to your bill.

Supermarkets like Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are also getting customers in the mood for love, as they release £15 Valentine’s Day meal deals.

The Sun reveals which supermarket’s Valentine’s Day menu came out on top in a blind taste test reveal.

In other news, McDonald’s released its chicken Big Mac for the first time after fans demanded the menu item be added.
