IF you’re in need of an extra boost to keep going over the Christmas festivities, grabbing a takeout coffee is one way to go.

But caffeine fiends will have to keep an eye on store opening times, as they may vary over the holidays.

Costa is yet to confirm which stores it will be opening and closing, but last year this varied between branches.

To avoid walking away empty handed, we’d recommend checking Costa’s store checker to see if your local one is open before making a trip.

What are Costa’s opening hours for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?

We don’t have a full list of opening hours for Costa branches over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Main high street branches typically open anywhere between 6am and 7am Monday to Saturday and shut between 7pm and 9pm.

But hours will vary from store to store over the holiday season.

For example, Costa’s Argyll Street branch in Oxford Circus, London, is usually open from 6am until 8pm, but will close at 6pm on Christmas Eve and will remain shut on Christmas Day.

In previous years, the majority of Costa stores were closed on Christmas Day too.

What are Costa’ opening hours for Boxing Day until New Year?

On Boxing Day last year, hours were shorter than usual.

We don’t have a full list of opening times for this year, but we’re expecting hours to be shorter again.

For example, Costa’s Argyll Street branch will open at the usual time, but close a little later than usual at 6pm.

What are Costa’s opening hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day?

For those who might have partied a little too hard bringing 2021 in, getting a Costa fix might have to wait a little longer than usual.

Last year, branches opened later and closed earlier than usual, including a branch in Manchester which shut early on New Year’s Eve at 5pm instead of 9pm, and opened later than usual on New Year’s Day at 9am instead of 6am.

It looks like the same is happening again this year. For example, Costa’s Argyll Street store is closing at 7pm on New Year’s Eve instead of its usual 8pm.
