Average house prices across Britain

House prices are likely to fall in the coming months, as the country faces the economic effects of Covid, Putin’s war in Ukraine and Lizz Truss’s “mini budget.”

But what are the average house prices in each region?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, London is by far the most expensive place to live in the country, with average house prices being a staggering £533,849.

The South East follows, and then the East of England.

The cheapest place to live in Britain the North East, with the average house costing an impressive £170,999.
