The number of people available for work in the City of London hit a five-year high in 2022.
There was a 36 per cent rise in jobseekers for the City’s financial services sector year-on-year – the highest level since 2017.

Pay packets also fattened with the average salary increase for someone moving from one company to another standing at 22 per cent.
But the number of jobseekers in the fourth quarter of 2022 fell 23 per cent on the previous three-month period, while vacancies dropped 8 per cent.
