CHINESE scientists claim to have invented a “Golden Veil” that can disguise nukes as passenger planes.

The terrifying tech is designed to fool US defences and will “change the face of war”.

The veil will effectively hide the deadly missiles on radar screens as they pummel towards opposition forces, according to local reports.

China’s latest advancement was developed by a team of scientists headed by Zong Yali, an associate professor of radar science at Northwestern Polytechnical University.

Zong and her colleagues revealed that the veil is composed of fine gold-plated metal threads intricately woven into a complex geometry, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reports

The invention is designed to deceive sophisticated air defence systems and has the potential to alter the entire dynamics of conflicts.

Perhaps most critically, however, is how the technology will shorten the response time for military commanders.

This key factor is likely to play a major role in affecting the outcome of conflict itself.

Speaking to Chinese Journal of Radio Science, Zong added how the technology can also significantly amplify the radar of a flying target from less than one to over 30 decibels per square metre.

The Golden Veil will provide missiles with the same level of radar reflection as large commercial planes like the Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 when viewed from specific angles.

China’s new tech will also portray unrivalled flexibility.

The folding structure will allow it to be deployed like an umbrella, due to its makeup of lightweight carbon fibre materials.

Missiles or aircraft will now be able to seamlessly switch between visible and stealth modes during flight.

And with the veil capable of altering its shape and size randomly, computer and radar operators will be completely unaware of what’s coming.

“Electronic warfare has become more complex than ever,” Zong said, as reported by Wio News.

“New electronic countermeasure equipment and tools are entering service at an unprecedented speed. They are changing the face of war.”

The scientist added how the materials used are readily available in China’s industrial production chain.

The Golden Veil is considered to the complete inverse of stealth technology.

However, the researchers have conceded there is challenge of mass-producing the veil with uniform performance.

It comes as CHINA announced its development of mind-controlling weapons as part of their latest psychological warfare strategies.

A report has revealed how the People’s Liberation Army has been developing artificial intelligence and new technologies like brain-computer interfaces for military use.

And Beijing has also launched its shadowy orbital spaceplane for the third time.

Very little is known about the aircraft and its payload, but it is speculated to lead covert operations with secret scientific experiments.
