Morrisons has slashed the price of its Cadbury eggs this week to as little as just 75p.

The supermarket chain has reduced the Easter treats by half the usual price.

You’ll have to be quick because shoppers have been snapping them up, and at this price who can blame them.

One woman posted her huge haul on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

Shoppers rush to buy Easter eggs for just 75p - here’s where
Cadbury makes massive change to Easter eggs this year and shoppers are fuming

She shared a photo of dozens of eggs and mini chocolates which she said she managed to bag for just £26.

The offer includes Cadbury eggs, as well as other brand, which range between 96g and 128g.

Morrisons is yet to confirm whether the 75p eggs are on sale across all its stores and when the deal finishes, we’ll update this article once we get a response.

You have to order any of the eight eggs by February 21 to get them at half price online though.

After that, they will set you back £1.50.

The full list of Cadbury eggs reduced to 75p includes:

  • Cadbury Freddo Faces Chocolate Easter Egg 95G
  • Cadbury Milk Buttons Chocolate Easter Egg 98G
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Easter Egg 97G
  • Cadbury White Buttons Chocolate Easter Egg 98G

It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

The offer at Morrisons is the lowest prices we found but it’s always worth having a look yourself for the top bargain.

Prices can also vary day to day and by what deals are on at the time, plus remember you might pay for delivery if you’re ordering online.

You can compare prices on websites like Google shopping and Trolley.co.uk – which compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets.

The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and lets you compare prices at several supermarkets to see where it’s cheaper.

We used Trolley.co.uk to compare each of the Cadbury eggs prices at other supermarkets.

You can find the same Freddo egg at Asda and Sainsbury’s for £1.25.

That’s 50p more than Morrisons deal, but 25p less compared to the full price.

Ocado and Iceland are also selling the egg for £1.50.

So you’ll pay 75p more than Morrisons deal price, or the same when the offer ends.

If you’re on the hunt for a Dairy Milk Buttons egg, Asda is the second cheapest supermarket at £1.25.

Or you can pick up the eggs at Co-op and Iceland for £1.50.

White chocolate fans can grab the White Buttons egg at Tesco for 50p more than Morrisons at £1.25.
