CHOCOLATE fans looking to stock up ahead of Christmas will be keen to know where to find the best deals on Quality Street.
Christmas is starting earlier this year as households look to spread the cost as supermarket prices and energy bills soar.
So it’s a good idea to know where to head for the cheapest price – and where to avoid.
It comes after the announcement that Quality Street will axe its iconic brightly-coloured wrappers over 86 years since their release.
In a bid to become more environmentally-friendly, the chocolate treats are being wrapped in a duller form of waxed paper, which is recyclable.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t be a festive favourite this year – it just helps to know where sells them for cheap.
Prices may vary day to day as well depending on what deals are on, so make sure you check, and look at delivery costs too if you’re ordering online.
And, as always, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price – there’s never a bad time to catch a bargain.
Handy websites like Trolley.co.uk can help you compare prices across 14 major supermarkets.
The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and lets you compare prices at several supermarkets to see where it’s cheaper.

Let’s have a look at where prices stand right now.
Tesco
Tesco is selling a 600g tub of Quality Street for £4 – one of the cheapest prices we found.
This price is available for all shoppers, and doesn’t only apply to those with a Clubcard.
In previous years, the supermarket had loyalty deals allowing two boxes for the price of £7 – it’s not currently on but was earlier in the year.
This is sometimes reintroduced closer to Christmas though, so keep your eyes peeled just in case.
You can find your nearest Tesco on the supermarket’s website.
Asda
The 600g tub at Asda is priced at £4 – the same price as Tesco.
Last year, Asda offers two tubs of the family favourite chocolates for £7 – cheaper than if you bought them individually.
The deal also applied to 650g tubs of Celebrations, Roses and Heroes.
To find your nearest one, you can search the Asda website.
B&M
B&M wasn’t selling tubs of Quality Street when we checked, but it was selling 450g for £3.
This works out at 67p per 100g – the same price as Asda and Tesco.
The bags are available subject to availability, and you should check out your local B&M to see if it is offering the deal.
Iceland
It costs £8 for two 600g tubs of Quality Street at Iceland, or £5 for one.
However, the 382g bags have gone down from £3.50 to £3, which is £1 cheaper than Morrisons.
And there are other deals too, like on the smaller 220g boxes, which are £2.50 each or three for £5.
This could be useful if you’re multi-buying for gifts or just stocking up.
You can check where your nearest Iceland is on the supermarket’s website.
Amazon
As part of Amazon Prime day, the retail giant is selling a 2kg sharing pack of Quality Street for £18.
The mega pack was originally on sale for £21.99 – meaning shoppers can save £3.99.
But the 2kg sharing back works out at 85p per 100g, which is more expensive than Asda, Tesco, B&M, Iceland, Morrisons, and Ocado.
Plus you’ll need to factor in delivery costs, so you might be better off visiting a supermarket.
You can order a 600g tub of Quality Street from Amazon for £7.99 – so it’s not the cheapest.
Ocado
Posh delivery company Ocado is selling 650g tubs of Quality Street for £5.
This is the same price as Iceland, if you were to just buy one tub.
You will also have to factor in delivery charges if you order through Ocado.
Morrisons
Morrisons has its 600g tub on shelves for £4.99 – a better offer than its 382g pouch that’s £4.
However, the tub is currently out of stock online so you might be better off shopping in-store if you want one.
You can search for your nearest one here.
Its only deal is the 220g cartons that are £2, down from £3, so the tub is still the better offer.
Aldi
Aldi was selling its 600g tubs for £3.99 – but these are unfortunately sold out online for click and collect, so you might not be able to get one this week.
Although the Quality Street tub isn’t a deal, keep a look out for Aldi Specialbuy – there might be some bargains in the coming weeks as we crawl closer to Christmas.
You can find your nearest Aldi on their website.
Meanwhile, we reveal how you can bag a personalised tin of Quality Streets.
We also reveal the full lost of shops extending their returns policies for Christmas including B&M and John Lewis.
