THERE are now less than 45 days to go before Christmas and it may be prime time to pick up your favourite chocs.
For many households, Lindor Lindt chocolates are a festive essential.

But there are so many competing offers and price drops in the run up to the big day it can be easy to miss out on the best deal.
That’s why we’ve done the bargain hunting for you and rounded up the best deals of the week.
We used discount-hunting site HotUKDeals and found a pretty decent deal on the 600g boxes of chocs at Costco.
We also used comparison site trolley.co.uk and compared the cost of other Christmas chocolates at different supermarkets.

The website searches and compares the prices of 130,000 products across all the major shops.
It means it’s a great way to make sure you’re not missing out on a big saving.
But you’ll have to be quick because some of the offers are only available for a set period.
The biggest saving we found from the cheapest to the most expensive was a whopping £1.75.

And with the cost of living crisis still biting, look after every penny counts.
It goes to show it always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.
As we get closer to Christmas, it’s important to be aware that there are always sales and special offers on big tubs.
Below we compare the current prices of Lindt chocs across the big supermarkets.
Where can I buy the chepeast Lindt chocolate?
The cheapest supermarkets selling a 200g box of Lindt milk chocolate truffles are Asda and Morrisons.
The retailers are charging £4.25 a box, which works out at £2.13 per 100g.
Tesco shoppers with a Clubcard can also get a box for £4.25, but those that aren’t signed up to the scheme will have to pay a whopping £6.
The next cheapest supermarkets for Lindt chocolates are Waitrose, Ocado and Iceland, where they are priced at £4.75.
Shoppers can also pick up a box from Boots, but they cost £4.87, so slightly more than the previously mentioned retailers.
The most expensive supermarket for Lindt chocolates is Sainsbury’s, where they cost £6.
Meanwhile, Costco is selling a 600g box for £8.98.
This works out at just £1.50 per 100g and this makes Costco the cheapest of all the retailers.
But not everyone will be able to pick up the bargain chocs though as it’s only available to Costco members.
Becoming a member will set you back £26.40 a year if you’re a trader or £33.60 for everyone else.
Alternatively, you can sign up with a £15 annual subscription but you’ll only be able to shop online and not in store.
