HANGING egg chairs are once again becoming a must-have item as the weather warms up – here’s how you can get your hands on one.

The classic 1960s style, which is a hit with celebrities, has been selling out everywhere as shoppers flock to buy them.

Most of the rattan styles feature a steel frame to help hold the seat while the chair itself is often made with a woven material.

But many of the popular places to buy these chairs on the cheap such as Argos and B&M often quickly sellout.

Aldi shoppers were furious this week after a “technical issue” meant the supermarket’s sell-out £149 egg chair went up for sale early – and sold out in minutes.

Bargain store B&M was last month selling one for £125.

B&M told The Sun it’s rolled out the chair on the back of the success of its other Siena hanging egg chairs.

These have been brought back in stock too, but they cost a pricier £175.

Shoppers have to act fast as stock can go quickly.

Home Bargains had extremely limited availability of a £99 version last year but it is currently sold out online.

If you’re still keen to get your hands on one from the stores listed above, sign up to their newsletters or product alerts to find out when they are back in stock.

Alternatively, you could try one of the below retailers – although they are on the more expensive end of the scale.
