AMAZON has just rolled out a huge device sale, with savings across tablets, Kindles and smart speakers – including the Echo Dot.

The 4th-generation model is on sale for £27.99, but you save a further £10 if you buy two.

Amazon is offering 54% savings in this double Echo Dot deal

On its own, the latest generation of Amazon’s mini-size smart speaker is reduced by 44% to £27.99.

But if you pop two in your basket and enter the promo code 2ECHODOT4, that figure drops to just £22.99 – that’s a 44% drop off full price.

This might seem just like a sales ploy from Amazon, but a double dose of Echo Dots makes complete sense.

These compact speakers are great way of bringing some budget-friendly stereo to a living room.

Alternately, you can place them in different rooms and get them to play different things, or the same things – whatever you command Alexa to do.

Normally, two of these handy little gadgets would set you back £99.98, but in this deal they’re just £45.98.

Amazon’s current device sale doesn’t offering the same price drops we saw back around Easter time – but it’s still a great chance to pick up a smart gadget for less.

If you’re after a smart speaker with a screen, you can pick up the 2nd-generation Echo 5 for 33% less (was £74.99, now £49.99), while kids can be kept entertained with the Fire Kids 7 Pro tablet, which has been reduced by a spectacular 50% (was £99.99, now £49.99).

The cheapest Alexa-powered device we’ve found on sale is the Echo Flex, which is an incredible 60% cheaper at just £9.99.
