Jeremy Hunt will later today deliver a Spring Budget promised to be a ‘budget for growth’, with the Chancellor focused on getting more Britons back to work after a sharp jump in economic inactivity over the last three years.

The Office for Budget Responsibility will also publish its forecasts for the UK economy, which will give the Chancellor an indicator of the Treasury’s capacity to help drive growth.

The FTSE 100 will open at 8am. Among the companies with reports and trading updates today are Ferrexpo, Bloomsbury, Burberry, IG Group, Trainline, Keywords and Hyve Group. Read the Wednesday 15 March Business Live blog below.
