Booming sales: Franco Manca and Real Greek owner Fulham Shore said it ‘enjoyed a fantastic summer’ 

The  owner of Franco Manca and Real Greek restaurants hailed bumper trading after Covid restrictions were lifted in July.

Fulham Shore ‘enjoyed a fantastic summer’ after lockdown, with many sites breaking trading records. The restaurants have performed well in the past three weeks, with sales up 33 per cent compared to the same period in 2019 before Covid struck.

The firm recorded revenues of £39million in its first half, compared to £36million in the same, pre-pandemic period in 2019. 

London’s West End and city centre locations where tourists and workers have been slow to return struggled.
