The flash sale has cut fares to £35 – meaning you can get a £70 return ticket to Paris, Lille or Brussels from London St Pancras.

This is the cheapest price it’s been since February 2022.

Plus, money saving expert Martin Lewis has a code to get an extra 8 per cent off – so Brits could actually bag a trip for just £64.40.

Book directly through Eurostar

Money saving expert Martin Lewis has told Brits that they can head directly to the Eurostar website for the cheap fares.

Although the cheapest fare is £35 for one way, you’ll have to book a return journey to access the price.

Book via Trainpal

However, if you want to get a further 8 per cent off of your train fare then you should book through the third-party site Trainpal.

When you’ve signed up, find your tickets and enter the code MSE555 as you go to checkout.

New Trainpal users will get 5 per cent off their order with the code – which automatically combines with the current 3 per cent discount on the site.

This makes the cheapest return journey on the Eurostar £64.40.

But, don’t worry if you’ve already used Trainpal before – you’ll still get 2 per cent off from that same code.

Combine that with the existing 3 per cent discount and you’ll find fares from £66.50.

There are no fees when booking via the site, and you receive the same tickets you would if you had booked directly.

Be flexible on travel times

Martin Lewis added that it’s not been made clear when the £35 seats are available.

All that is known is that the cheap fares are for travel from March 13 to May 23, 2024.

But, the seats seem to be randomly spread out across those dates on both peak and off-peak trains.

He warns that there could be a lot of trial and error in finding the cheaper seats – so be as flexible as possible.

Brits will have a better chance of snagging the bargain if they can be flexible on their travel dates, and times.

Eurostar has previously offered group tickets to its destinations from £25 per person.
