IT makes scents to keep your home smelling great.

With the term “autumn fragrances” currently trending on Pinterest, I thought I would show you some great ways to bring the aromas of outdoors inside for less.

LIGHT FANTASTIC: Fabulosa is the king of bargain fragrances, and its Advent Calendar is just £3.99 at B&M.

Or pick up the brand new Apple Spice scent for £1.15, at myfabulosa.co.uk.

AMBER AMBIENCE: Zoflora’s new Fir Needle & Amber disinfectant is delightfully autumnal, with an aromatic blend of pine, orange zest and fir balsam with rich notes of black pepper, patchouli and amber.

I’m a sucker for its Winter Spice scent too.

Wipe it over radiators at this time of year and your home will smell delicious.

Get the concentrated dilutable disinfectant for just £2.99 at most major stores.

TRIPLE SCENT SAVER: Aldi has amazing triple-layered candles on the way, which burn one scent first, then two others.

Also, look out for its Pigs In Blankets and Turkey candles, which do smell like the Christmas dishes.

For now, you can pick up the Snowy Sugar Plum Bubble Glass candle for £3.49 or the Plum & Mulberry jar candle for £3.29 — a dupe for the Mulberry & Fig Yankee Candle, which is slightly bigger but costs £20.99.

GO YOUR OWN WAY: Create your own scented air-freshening spray by mixing one tablespoon of baking soda, two to three drops of essential oil, and distilled water and popping it in a £1 spray bottle from Poundland.

I like orange essential oil at this time of year.

The Tisserand Orange Organic Essential Oil was £4.85 at Holland & Barrett but currently has 25 per cent off, making it just £3.63.

DIY POT POURRI: Friends visiting?

Simmer a teaspoon of allspice, cinnamon, cloves, apple cores, lemon or orange peel, and that’s a DIY air freshener done and your home smelling all kinds of cosy.
