B&Q is selling a Lay-Z-Spa hot tub at some of its stores for £115 cheaper than normal.

The pool is on offer at seven B&Q locations as well as B&Q concessions located in Asda stores.

The hot tub fits up to three people

The three-person St Lucia Lay-Z-Spa is usually priced at £310 online and in B&Q stores.

But one savvy shopper spotted the hot tub on special offer and picked it up in Asda in Dagenham for just £195.

B&Q confirmed to The Sun that the deal is available at the following B&Q stores.

  • St Albans
  • Oxford
  • Twickenham
  • Merton
  • Wallington
  • Wandsworth
  • Tooting

The deal can also be found at B&Q concessions located in Asda stores. We’ve asked where these concessions are and will update when we hear back.

Anyone after this deal better be quick though as it ends on Monday (May 24).

Sharing the find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, the shopper said they also landed a further £5 discount by signing up to the B&Q loyalty card.

They said: “Just picked this up in Asda Dagenham (there’s a little B&Q section in our Asda store) £195 with an extra £5 off if you sign up for a B&Q card.

“There were quite a few but said a man was going in to buy lots of them so be quick.”

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

Asda is selling a four-person Lay-Z-Spa for £310 and Aldi has been selling a four-person tub for £349.99 – but it quickly sold out.

Even when the three-person St Lucia Lay-Z-Spa isn’t on offer the £310 price tag is the cheapest we found it.

Argos sells a similar tub, the Lay-Z-Spa Cancun, which is slightly more at £350.

Hot tubs have taken off in lockdown and have even become a target for thieves.

Insurance claims related to spas tripled last year, according to insurance firm Aviva.

Here’s how you can kit out your hot tub for less – from drink flutes to lights.

Aldi is selling a weird and wonderful piece of garden furniture – a sun lounger for dogs.

Meanwhile, B&M is selling a three piece bistro set for £45, which is cheaper than similar ones sold by Aldi and Argos.
