B&Q is selling a stunning four piece rattan garden sofa set for only £260.

The Monaco coffee set will seat up to four people and is great value as it’s half the price of a similar version Wayfair is selling.

You won’t want to hang around as garden furniture has been flying off shelves as Brits deck out their backyards ready for the summer.

In the set, you’ll be able to relax on a two seater sofa as well as two armed chairs all complete with comfy cushions, and there’s also a table that doubles as a storage box included too.

The set is made from a plastic material designed to look like woven rattan, but it’s UV safe and fade-free, so you can place it in the perfect garden sun trap.

It’s easy to clean and all-weather proof so can be left outside as well as inside.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

Shoppers spotted the low price on Hotukdeals where one user explained how the DIY store delivered the set within 48 hours right to their door, and free of charge.

You also have the option to click and collect from the store for free and B&Q has a handy postcode checker tool to see if it’s available near you.

For example, when we checked there were 12 available in the B&Q Watford store, but B&Q Cheltenham only had one left.

As always it’s best to shop around first as you might be able to find a better deal elsewhere.

Home Bargains is selling a four piece rattan furniture set for only £200 making it £60 cheaper than the B&Q offer.

The set features a sofa, two chairs and a storage table all styled in the matching rattan design, plus it comes with its own set of grey cushions included too.

The cheaper set is only available in-store though so you’ll have to make a trip out to the shops if you’re after the bargain.

Lidl is also selling a garden sofa set for the same price and £60 cheaper than B&Q’s.

It’s made of the same matching rattan style material and comes complete with storage table, but once again you can’t order online and you’ll have to head out to the supermarket store pick it up.

But you could save £139 buying the set from B&Q compared to Dunelm though, as the homeware store is selling a similar version for £399.

It features the same rattan design and has its own storage table too to match the sofa and chairs.

Plus, you can get this one delivered, but delivery is going to cost another £9.95 on top too, bringing the whole total to nearly £410.

Wayfair is also selling a similar set for £509, so you’d save £249 if you went for B&Q’s option instead.

The more expensive version of the rattan sofa, chairs and table set doesn’t feature a storage box, although you can get free delivery.

We’ve also come up with an extensive list of the best garden loungers you can buy – perfect for soaking up the sun too.

Aldi is selling a portable version though, and at £10 it’s half the price of Lidl’s.

If you need a new gazebo to complete your garden set-up then we’ve got the low-down on the cheapest you can pick up right now.
