Police treating blaze at block of flats in Beckton as arson after teenager died and five other people were injured
Police have launched a murder investigation into the death of a 14-year-old girl in a fire in east London.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder over Thursday’s fire in a block of flats in the borough of Newham. The incident is being treated as arson and the investigation is continuing.
