During 2020 the Quiet Comfort sat between the £230 and £260 mark, and it’s easy to see why.

One look at the headphones shows the build quality, and comfort is key with the phones featuring a plush headband and comfy ear cushioning.

The second version of the Quiet Comfort name, Bose’s QC 35 II is regarded as durable and delivering of high-quality audio with strong bass.

Crucially for 2021 smart home compatibility, the headphones have Google’s voice-assistant and Alexa built-in.

Additionally, the Bose Connect App allows switching of connection to compatible devices quickly.

While Sony’s £300 WH-1000XM4 headphones can connect directly to two devices at once, the Bose Connect app fulfils multiple device connections on a model which has been around longer.

Although older than Sony’s latest, QC 35 II headphones remain an excellent option for anyone looking for a high-quality (but now more affordable) option.
