BOOTS has made a major change to meal deals – and shoppers will have to fork out more.
The retailer has upped the price of the lunchtime food and drink offer for the second time this year.

The cheap food offers have not escaped the cost of living crisis and people are paying more for their lunch.
Prices have risen from £3.59 to £3.99 outside London.
Shoppers in London have also faced price hikes as meal deals now cost £4.99 – up from £4.59.
A spokesperson for Boots said: “The price increase reflects rising costs including ingredients, production and supply chain costs.
“The Boots meal deal remains one of the best value deals on the market with savings of up to £4.39 outside of London and £3.30 inside.”
It means that customers are paying 40p more per lunch offer.
But Boots loyalty card holders can bag a discount – in a similar way to Clubcard holders at Tesco.
Customers with a Boots Advantage card can avoid the price hike and get a meal deal for 1p more than the previous prices.

Boots Advantage customers can now get a meal deal for £3.60 outside London and £4.50 within the city.
The Boots Advantage Card gives members access to exclusive discounts on over 900 products each month.
Advantage card members also earn four rewards points for every £1 they spend in-store and online.
Those points are worth 1p each, which you can use to spend in-store again.
So you’d need to spend £25 to build up 100 points to get £1 off your Boots shopping, and £250 to earn 1,000 points to get a tenner off.
Customers can sign up for the loyalty scheme online or in-store.
Boots last increased the price of its meal deals in May.
Prices increased from £3.39 to £3.59 outside London and from £4.19 to £4.59 within the city.
Other retailers have also increased their meal deal prices in recent months.
Co-op increased its meal deal prices back in May.
The price of a sandwich or wrap, snack and drink went up from £3.75 to £4 for non-members.
But if you’re a member of its loyalty scheme the price dropped to just £3.50.
Tescos and Morrisons have all increased their prices as well.
At Tesco, non-Clubcard members pay £3.50 for the sandwich, snack and drink combo – but it’s just £3 for the deal if you’ve got a Clubcard to hand.
Morrisons‘ deal on a sandwich, snack and drink used to be £3 but went up to £3.50, matching Tesco‘s price for non-clubcard members.
Boots‘ meal deal increased to £3.59 or £4.19 in London. It’s gone up 20p from its previous price of£3.39 and £3.99 respectively.
