BOOTS has slashed the price of hundreds of its children’s clothes by up to 70%.

The health and beauty retailer is offering the giant discounts on its Mothercare range.

Some of the items on sale include the Berry Cute t-shirt, for 90p and down from £3, Super Cute rompers – two pack for £3.60 down from £12 and a boys five pack of socks, down from £5 to £1.50.

There are 348 products available in total to choose from in the sale.

But you’ll have to be quick, as some of the sizes are already out of stock.

You also have to pay for delivery – standard delivery costs £3.75 and next day delivery will set you back £4.95.

However, you get free delivery on orders worth £25 or over, so it might be worthwhile buying in bulk and saving on any extra costs.

There are also click and collect options available, but these might not apply depending on where you live.

However, you should be able to collect the clothes from one of 2,200 Boots stores for a £1.50 charge, unless you spend £15 or more then it’s free.

If you want to send the clothes back, you should check Boots’ terms and conditions.

But you should be able to return any unwanted items for a refund or replacement for free within 35 days.

And of course, it’s worth deciding whether you actually need the clothes in the first place.

It’s only really a deal if you had planned to buy the items beforehand.

We checked out some of the items on sale in the Boots sale to see if you could get them cheaper elsewhere as well.

A five pack of boys’ socks from George at Asda costs £3.50, while from TU at Sainsbury’s, five packs start at £4.

A Newborn Boy Striped All in One baby grow in the Boots sale costs £3.60, but baby bodysuits at Tesco started cheaper at £1.75.

A girls denim sun hat in the Boots sale costs £1.50, while at H&M it is £3.99.

It’s always worth shopping around when looking at sales, as you might find better deals elsewhere.

It comes as popular pub chain Wetherspoon’s launched a big summer sale with 28 drinks being sold for £1.99 each.

And Homebase also slashed the price of one its Rattan garden sofa sets.
