SHOPPERS have just noticed a trick to get cheaper clothes from Boohoo every time.

It was shared in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK after a shopper compared prices on the website and the app.

The fan found some items are more expensive on the app, so you’re better off buying from the website.

They wrote in a post: “Be careful when ordering on the Boohoo app.

“The outfit was advertised as £28.00. I have premier delivery which means free next day delivery.

“I also added a 10% discount code and it said my total was £31.50… did it again not through the app with no discount code and it’s only £24.50.

I did a massive Boohoo haul - they sent some wrong items but I hit the jackpot

“Am I looking at this wrong? Plus by not doing it through the app I got another 30% off.”

People in the comments were agreeing with the discovery, with one writing: “The apps prices are more expensive than their website”.

Another put: “I have always found it cheaper on the website. I deleted the app for this very reason”.

And one more agreed: “This happened to me yesterday!! I had a dress for £8.60 online but my premier had expired, received an email with discount to renew but the code wouldn’t load online so downloaded the app to get the discount but the dress had gone up to £10.60 lol but got the premier for £4.99 instead of £12.99”.

When we checked, we spotted some price differences too.

For instance, the Textured Slinky Ruched Cowl Neck Crop costs £10.50 on the website, but £11.25 on the app.

The same applies to the Plus Textured Knit Maxi Beach Dress which costs £15.40 online but £16.60 on the app.

However, these are sale items. We couldn’t find price differences on other products which weren’t reduced.

Boohoo is yet to confirm whether this applies across all sale prices.

Either way, it’s worth comparing prices on its website and app before splashing the cash.

The app is free to download on the App Store or Google Play and you can currently get a 25% exclusive discount.

You’ll need to factor in delivery costs either way, though, since it’s an online business.

Standard delivery costs £3.99 but this could increase if you want your items quicker.

And don’t forget to check the terms and conditions if you’re after a refund.

With anything you buy online or over the phone – apart from items that have been personalised such as with your initials – you have the right to a refund within a 14-day window.

This cooling-off period applies even if there is nothing wrong with your purchase.

The clock starts the day after you receive the delivery.

What are my rights?

If there are any glitches between the Boohoo website and app, meaning some prices are wrong, the retailer reserves the right to cancel the order and give you a full refund as long as the item hasn’t been shipped.

However, if you’ve paid for and received your product, the company can’t do anything.

But it’s best to check the terms and conditions if you think something’s too good to be true.

Chances are, it probably is.
