Likewise, he was the Cebu chapter chairman and regional coordinator for the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).
Among his many honors is the KBP national award for Outstanding Host, which he won in 2004 against Manila-based radio-TV star Korina Sanchez.

Journalist Bobby Nalzaro was 58 years old when he passed away.
On August 11, 1963, he was born in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines.
Nalzaro began his career in radio when he was 16 years old. He worked as an anchor/reporter for Radio DXRZ in Zamboanga City in 1980 while studying at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University for a Bachelor of Mass Communication.
He was also a reporter for the local newspaper, the Zamboanga Express. Later, he became a member of The Morning Times.
