It comes following the closure and relocation of four stores last month.

Three of which were closed to make way for even bigger stores within the same area.

While one was closed due to the shopping centre it was within being demolished.

Although it wasn’t all bad, as the chain launched a sale at one of the locations with up to 75% off.

B&M is known for hosting huge sales when its shops shut so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out if one is closing near you.

In November 2021, shoppers rushed to B&M’s branch in Rugby’s Clock Towers Shopping Centre to bag a bargain haul.

The shop was advertising 50% off everything as it tried to shift the last of its stock before closing for good.

You can find your nearest B&M using the retailer’s online store locator tool.

The discount retailer currently has over 700 stores, and are continuing to expand with the long-term target of 950 stores in the UK – it previously confirmed to The Sun.

How can I save money at B&M?

While a closing down sale offers big discounts on already bargain prices, there are still ways to save at B&M every other day too.

The B&M barcode scanner app allows you to discover discounted items before the staff have even reduced them.

The scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.

Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.

Once you’ve got the app, click on the “scan” button at the bottom of your homepage.

This will then bring up the camera on your smartphone, which you’ll need to use to scan barcodes.

When you’ve found a product you want to scan, simply point your smartphone camera toward its barcode.

The app will then automatically bring up the item’s price – this is when you’ll know if it is reduced or not.

Bargain hunters say some items come up as £1, 50p or even 10p through the app.

Shoppers should also keep an eye out for products with a white reduction sticker on.

This means they will have a certain amount slashed off the price shown on the label.

Shop for products at the end of the season – we’ve seen shoppers make huge savings this way.

Most recently, shoppers have been rushing to buy a garden essential for just 10p that’s been hailed a “bargain”.
