Eagle-eyed shoppers spied the stool on sale at certain stores.

Posting on the B&M Scanner And Other Bargains Facebook group, one shopper shared the reduced find.

Fellow bargain hunters congratulated her on the low price.

The savvy shopper shared photos of the chair in its box as well as set up in her home and the receipt to show its £1 price tag.

She wrote in the caption: “Thank you B&M £1 chair!”

The post was met with more than 60 likes from excited customers.

Others in the comments wrote “well done” and “yay!”, while some tagged their pals to share the bargain find.

We couldn’t find this exact chair listed online but very similar chairs are available to view which cost a whopping £90 – so this is a huge discount.

B&Q shoppers can find a very similar looking grey velvet chair priced at £70.

While, Robert Dyas is also selling one for £75.
