A keen shopper spotted the store was selling a garden sofa set for £175, down from £300.

The Valencia Reversible Rattan Effect corner sofa set comes with a sofa and coffee table.

It has a reversible design and can be used by four people at once.

They posted in Facebook’s Extreme Couponing & Bargains group and other customers took to the comments.

One tagged their friend and said: “This would be nice for the back of the garden.”

While another asked what the person who posted the offer thought of the product.

They replied: “It’s solid, really heavy good quality and I’d rate comfort 7/10 to be honest.”

You can’t order the item online but according to the B&M website it’s “low in stock” in stores.

Although do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so availability will vary from store to store.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest B&M store using the locator tool on the website.

It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

In comparison, B&Q is selling a very similar four person set for £575, quite a lot more expensive than B&M’s.

While Homebase is selling one for £252, on sale from £360.

How can I save money with the B&M scanner app?

If you’re an avid B&M shopper than you might want to make use of its scanner app.

The B&M barcode scanner app allows you to discover discounted items before the staff has even reduced them.

The scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.

Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.

Once you’ve got the app, click on the “scan” button at the bottom of your homepage.

This will then bring up the camera on your smartphone, which you’ll need to use to scan barcodes.

When you’ve found a product you want to scan, simply point your smartphone camera toward its barcode.

The app will then automatically bring up the item’s price – this is when you’ll know if it is reduced or not.

Bargain hunters say some items come up as £1, 50p or even 10p through the app.
