B&M shoppers are racing to bag the heated blanket, which can help keep you cosy without whacking up the central heating.

Recent numbers from CheckaTrade shows the average cost of running your heating is 7p per kilowatt-hour.

For example, if you leave the central heating on overnight for eight hours, it could cost £13.44.
