The handheld fan is made by Blaupunkt and is rechargeable and cordless.

The savvy shopper posted her bargain find in the B&M Scanner and Other Bargains Facebook group, and the post quickly attracted comments.

One person commented: “My mum has one for her hot flushes and I use mine when I have a migraine, they’re literally a breath of fresh air.”

And another person added: “I’ve bought the same one this week too, 29 weeks pregnant and struggling in the heat, perfect for out and about.”

Someone else commented: “They are amazing little fans.”

And another member of the group said: “My son has this it’s great.”

Lots of other people were tagging their friends and one person said they had spent £20 on a similar one earlier that day.

We checked online and the fan is listed on the B&M website as being available in Rose Gold and Grey.

It is not possible to buy online, but you can use the locator on the website to find out where your nearest store is.

We recommend calling up the store first to check if it is in stock in order to avoid disappointment.

Remember it is always good to shop around to make sure that you are getting the cheapest deal and something that best suits your needs.

If you are only buying something because it is on special offer and you didn’t need it in the first place, you are not really saving money.

Keep in mind other retailers will be selling similar items too – you can use price comparison tools like Google Shopping or PriceRunner to browse through other potential options.

We had a look around to see what other retailers are offering.

Argos has a grey hand-held desk fan with a dock for £12, and Currys do a similar one priced at £9.

Wickes has a folding rechargeable mini travel fan for £6 and Temu has a range of options for under a tenner.

If you are looking for something bigger that will cool your whole house, we recently did a roundup of the cheapest fans on the market.

These include desk fans and tower fans from the likes of B&QWilkoScrewfix and Asda.

Remember our list is just a guide, and you should still shop around to make sure you don’t miss any other bargains.
